Our client in the Financial Services industry is seeking an Accountant. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and high attention to detail. This is a your opportunity to shine at a prestigious firm!

Responsibilities Include:

+ Create monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

+ Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners

+ Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

+ Work to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

+ Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

+ Review financial results

+ Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables in compliance with GAAP

+ Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

+ BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired

+ Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

+ Skilled with ERP systems

+ Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

+ Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

+ SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Strong analytical and communication skills
