WHAT YOU'LL DO The Legal Counsel - Transactions position requires broad experience in corporate legal matters, including managing strategic programs, governance, transactions and investments. Among other things, you will:
• Support BCG's analysis, execution and post-transaction management of inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions and divestitures, strategic minority and financial investments, and strategic partnerships and joint ventures
• Assist in handling corporate governance and structuring initiatives
• Team with other members of BCG's legal team to provide thought leadership and advice to various internal functions, including negotiation and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and other transactions
• Work seamlessly with tax, finance, and HR functions to provide practical, actionable advice
• Take ownership of discreet legal initiatives as they arise based upon changing business priorities
• Be experienced in quickly and independently spotting issues, managing complex transactions and drafting partnership, alliance, acquisition, divestiture and investment documents
• Contribute to developing and maintaining Legal Team intellectual property, including template forms and other materials
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

• Having the interpersonal skills necessary to build relationships throughout a loosely structured organization YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) • Graduate degree (J.D.) in Law from an accredited law school and admitted to practice
• 5+ years of transactional and/or corporate experience with international exposure; prior buy- and sell-side transactional and VC investment experience preferred
• 5+ years with a reputable law firm or in a sophisticated in-house legal department; prior in-house experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• English fluency
YOU'LL WORK WITH A variety of cohorts and functions across the company, including senior consulting and business services team leadership, and members of the BCG Corporate Development and Global Alliance teams. You will report into the corporate group within the Legal Team.
