Job description

OFFICE MANAGER

Projection is an in-house audio-visual company helping clients bring their events to life at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center and the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center.

We are currently seeking an organized and motivated professional for the role of the Office Manager position to assist servicing clients in the event industry. The position involves duties in the areas of administration, human resources, accounting, bookkeeping, and operations. This individual is a critical team member in operationally supporting the day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative
  • Assist the General Manager with managing calendar, reporting and day-to-day tasks
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors
  • Manage and order office supply inventory and office equipment
  • Book travel and lodging as needed
  • Human Resource
  • HR duties including scheduling interviews, employee on-boarding, and paperwork
  • Accounting
  • Assist with AR/AP duties including but not limited to billing, bookkeeping, purchase order's, expense reports, and reporting
  • Oversee and submit weekly time and attendance for all employees
  • Operations
  • Liaise with the Operations team to determine labor and equipment needs
  • Communicate with employees to book labor for events and distribute the weekly schedule
  • Point of contact for vendors to secure equipment rentals and supply purchase orders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • 1+ year of experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant in a busy office environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees, clients, building management, etc
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility to work weekends if needed

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
