In partnership with Boston University, Adkisson Search is recruiting a Senior Director of Occupational Health Services (DNP, Ph.D.) with extensive Clinical Nurse Practitioner experience in Occupational Health, managing a clinical program. Three to five years' experience in Occupational Health with COHN-S is preferred and 2-5 years in occupational health or medical clinic management. You will serve more than 12,000 employees at two clinic locations and a school for dental medicine.
The Senior Director will oversee all Occupational Health Services including the Boston University Occupational Health Program, the Boston University Occupational Health Medical Campus Satellite Clinic Program, and Goldman School for Dental Medicine. The Senior Director acts as a liaison for multiple interdepartmental relationships and negotiations within the University to further the health and safety mission of the Occupational Health Center. This position requires understanding and interpretation of the University's mission and vision statements within the context of occupational health and safety for setting organizational goals in collaboration with staff, and other departments.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing, doctorate (DNP or Ph.D.) preferred.
- Expert clinical judgment to function in an independent role.
- Extensive clinical Nurse Practitioner experience in Occupational Health; managing a clinical program. Three to five years' experience in Occupational Health with COHN-S preferred and 2-5 years in occupational health or medical clinic management.
- Capable of self-reflection to improve professional and administrative practices ongoing educational betterment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate policies and procedures that support quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervises licensed and unlicensed personnel across both clinics. The position requires graduate-level healthcare business acumen and capacity for strategic planning, financial analysis and management, human capital management, quality assurance implementation and monitoring, budgeting, service line development, implementation, evaluation, and management.
- Design and deliver health promotion programs and other preventive programs based on employee needs.
- Directs the BUOHC clinics at CRC and Medical Campus
- Directs the Bloodborne Pathogens Program for faculty, staff, and dental students.
- Participates in multiple standing and ad hoc committees actively contributing to work product and outcomes per committee charter.
- Maintains all applicable state and federal licensures.
- Complies with all pertinent HIPAA, state, and university privacy laws and policies.
- Accountable for following established policy and protocol in all clinical areas.
