(Sr.) Research Associate, Molecular and Cell biology

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our out-of-stealth mode client is in need of an experienced researcher with general cell and molecular biology experience to join their team. Experience with AAVs or other viral vectors is also a nice to have. If you are ready to join a promising early stage startup, please apply!

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Providing hands-on executional support for various studies and experiments
• Supporting general laboratory operations
• Maintaining an up-to-date record of all protocols, experimental work, and data
• Preparing plans, data, and other materials for internal presentations and publication
• Additional duties as assigned

Primary Job Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, microbiology, virology, or related
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a research laboratory setting
• Experience with common molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, molecular cloning, PCR, RT-qPCR
• Experience with maintenance of mammalian cell lines
• Experience with analyzing experimental data using lab software; for example: SnapGene (or other similar molecular biology software), GraphPad Prism, ImageJ, FlowJo, Excel
