At Gritstone Bio, we have a high bar for talent. In that spirit we are searching for a talented and experienced Senior Recruiting Partner to join the People Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to and executing on Gritstone's Talent Acquisition strategy and ensuring a seamless, transparent candidate experience. This key role will have a direct impact on business results by sourcing, interviewing, leading the recruiting processes, and onboarding the best talent for current and future job opportunities. This role is also responsible for contributing to operational excellence and assisting with corporate People Team initiatives as requested.
This position may work remotely with expected travel to the various worksites.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to onboarding and be the go-to expert for creative and resourceful recruiting solutions
  • Coach, partner, support, and challenge hiring managers using recruiting leadership experience and best practices to ensure optimal candidate selection
  • Ability to manage and fill a diverse requisition load of technical and seniority leveled job openings
  • Responsible for creating and cultivating pipeline pools of talent for various talent needs across the organization.
  • Provide candidate development while ensuring a positive and transparent recruitment experience
  • Support Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives including process improvements, metrics, gamification, community involvement, and branding initiatives
  • Contribute to and execute social media strategy and evolving technologies where potential talent spend their time
  • Identify and collaborate with People Team on difficult talent issues and communicate with a solutions-based approach
  • Ensure all recruitment and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures
Minimum Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with 8 years of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Agency and/or life sciences (Biotech/Pharmaceutical) recruiting experience required.
Qualifications:
  • A deep understanding and demonstrated experiences within Talent Acquisition best practices
  • Strong understanding of competitive compensation issues and how to proactively address the challenges to ensure successful recruitment and, indirectly, retention of top talent
  • Demonstrated results in a high growth organization with proven experience influencing an evolving talent message
  • Experience developing and executing a talent attraction approach to achieve aggressive hiring goals. Experience building a pipeline of biotech talent for hard to fill positions.
  • A collaborative approach, partnering and working effectively across the organization to achieve goals
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while performing at a high level
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and foster a customer-focused environment: deliver exceptional service, anticipate customer needs, offer fresh perspectives, and be resourceful.
