Scientist/Senior Scientist, Hematopoiesis

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our Lexington based client is in need of a talented Scientist/Sr. Scientist to join their ranks. This role will be integral in helping to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms of action of molecules in hematologic disease. The ideal candidate must be scientifically motivated and enthusiastic, and ready to contribute at a high level. Please apply if you are ready to advance your career!

Primary Job Requirements:

• PhD with 2+ years relevant post-degree experience (title to match experience)
• Strong background in interrogating hematopoiesis in in vitro and/or in vivo models of hematologic disease
• Background in studying TGF- biology a plus
• Flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture (including primary cells), and assay development experience required
• Experience designing and planning in vivo pharmacology studies preferred
• Must be proficient at independently conceiving, conducting, and analyzing innovative research with minimal supervision
• Adept at presenting and communicating scientific data, engaging colleagues in cross-disciplinary scientific discussion, and staying abreast of relevant scientific literature
• Skilled at managing junior personnel
• Industry experience working in a cross-functional project team a plus
• Experience managing external research a plus
