If you are an experienced Healthcare Recruiter that loves to work in a fast-paced environment with a group of upbeat, dedicated HR professionals, come join our team!# We are adding to our team to meet the increased needs of the hospital.# As a member of our Talent Acquisition Team you will be responsible for recruiting a variety of#clinical talent for our two#campuses and#four Urgent Care Centers. You will partner closely with hiring managers and executives to develop a strong understanding of their#needs and to support all hiring initiatives.# You are responsible for the creation and implementation of proactive recruitment strategies, for sourcing and developing#a#talent pipeline, for creating effective strategies to support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and to provide an exceptional candidate experience for all. In this role you will be responsible for:# SOURCING CANDIDATES Developing#proactive strategies#to source candidates. Includes a combination of web based advertising and sourcing on Indeed, contacting candidates directly, conducting hiring events, attending job fairs and use of other non-traditional and traditional recruiting techniques. INTERVIEWING Prescreening of applicants, via the phone or via Zoom,#before they are sent over to Hiring Mangers for consideration.# Ensuring all candidates meet the minimum requirements of the position.# Use of#appropriate Behavioral Interviewing techniques Obtaining references to support the hiring decision Ensuring HR policies,#labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations are met through the interviewing process SELECTION/DESELECTION NOTIFICATION Extend#offer to candidates Responsible for notifying candidates that are not selected of the hiring decision.#Efforts are extended to ensure that candidates are treated with dignity and respect and remain positive about employment with Lowell General# REPORT GENERATION Tracking and reporting of TA metrics Ensure information is entered in a timely manner for reporting purposes Meet due dates assigned (i.e. Bi-weekly and vacancy reports) COMMUNICATION Achieve timely communication with candidates and internal customers Ensure offer letters are reviewed, verified, and emailed/mailed within 1 business day Possess strong understanding of business needs Collaboration with managers TIME-TO-FILL Fill open positions are filled within established time to fill guidelines# Implement proactive sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions TEAM PLAYER Responsible for contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the TA and HR department. Demonstrate positive attitude and willingness to support efforts#across the HR Division. * Maintain current knowledge in areas of Employment and Recruitment.
* Manage the recruitment process for non-clinical positions as well as advise managers and employees on policy and employee relations matters.
* Collaborates with Hiring Manager and Directors in the hiring process for non-clinical positions which includes posting jobs, sourcing applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, reference checking and extending offers.
* Guides management and employees in the interpretation of Hospital and Human Resource policies and procedures.
* Complies with pre-employment requirements and on-boarding of new hires according to established guidelines. This references, offer letters, background checks, and scheduling orientation etc.
* Administrative duties and recordkeeping pertaining to the hiring process. Reports statistics for vacancy rates maintains manning tables, processes status changes and tracks requisitions for functional areas.
* Supports and advises management in administering the progressive discipline process which includes performance improvement plans, written warnings and terminations per hospital policy.
* Participates on various hospital committees. Attends job fairs, career days and other activities supporting recruitment efforts.
* Processes unemployment claims, tuition reimbursement and manages the employee discount program
