Job description
The Manager, Talent Acquisition will report directly to the VP, Talent Acquisition and will drive and lead the development and execution of a talent acquisition strategy and related operational functions for Melrose Wakefield. This role will partner with the VP of Talent Acquisition and leadership across the organization, to streamline and optimize the talent acquisition function. to improve overall quality and service outcomes. Additionally, this position will be tasked with reviewing all systems, policies, programs and strategies to ensure that the TA function is both efficient and highly effective in delivering the best talent. The Manager of TA will be a part of the cross-functional team that builds an employer brand strategy, creates and fosters an amazing candidate experience, and develops a pipeline of diverse, high performing talent that will deliver against business goals. Working in conjunction with Business Partners this leader will provide ongoing support and act as a central resource for strategic and consultative advice on tools and methods for Talent Acquisition. . Additionally, this position will work with our colleagues in Diversity & Inclusion to support our commitment to equity, diversity and Inclusion.
Responsibilities
Drive and oversee strategic talent operation functions including talent acquisition, and compliance. This work will be done in concert with the Wellforce centralized TA team, and will represent best practices in talent acquisition to source and recruit the best talent while managing an effective and efficient operation.
Lead talent acquisition process improvement, alignment and structure across Melrose Wakefield .
Work with talent acquisition teams to develop pipelines of qualified candidates to meet current and future needs of the organization.
In conjunction with the HR leadership, optimize the onboarding process of new employees and existing employees.
Design and manage TA performance metrics to meet and exceed department goals.
Execution of the action plan for integration including responsible parties and timelines; developing and directing a process implementation team.
Monitors and communicates obstacles, and solutions to the executive team.
Collaborates with key executives to fully understand hiring objectives, and provide service with a consultative approach
Encourages a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing projects to increase operation-wide recruiting and onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate TA to operate as a strategic business partner, establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational goals.
Responsible for compliance with all internal policies, compliance with all federal state and local employment laws and reporting requirements and with Joint Commission and OFCCP requirements.
Communicate and document processes across Melrose Wakefield . Develop and implement communications strategies related to compliance, diversity hiring, and recruiting best practices that includes attending committee meetings, facilitating relevant workshops, creating collateral tools and resources.
Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, managing full life-cycle recruitment process within a complex organization or an executive recruiting agency setting.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
Requires prior management experience in a complex, matrix organization.
Requires experience handling highly complex, challenging situations requiring exemplary professional judgment and diplomacy.
Requires experience coaching and developing diverse groups and all levels of professionals.
Strong knowledge of candidate assessment and selection methods
Demonstrated proficiency with candidate tracking systems, recruiting software and candidate databases
