DNV - Global Shared Services - Human Resources (GSS HR) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to join our world-class, full-service Recruitment team. We deliver high-quality talent acquisition results to all DNV business areas across the region, which includes the U.S, Canada and Mexico.
This position may be based out of our Katy, TX office or any other DNV office, with flexible work arrangement (home/office).
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to find the right qualified talent for DNV's hard to fill and highly specialized roles as well as build a solid pipeline for the ongoing and future recruitment needs
- Use networking, internet searching, candidate mining, social media presence, and any other effort to source and identify passive candidates
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers/recruiters to bring true value and expertise to the hiring process - act as a partner for the business understand the competencies and any other requirements of the role
- Communicate effectively with candidates and hiring managers to receive and understand their feedback to make adjustments, as necessary, to the sourcing strategy
- Assist with job analysis, job description development, and phone interviews
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of current recruitment directions in the industry, and technology
- Manage candidate's workflow within the applicant tracking system
- Work collaboratively with other team members within Talent Acquisition team to share ideas for continuous recruitment process improvements
- Stay up to date on trends and market chages within the area of sourcing & recruitment, in particular, social media and digitalization to feed into the overall recruitment strategy for various roles
Position Qualifications
What is Required
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent in experience
- Minimum 7 years of overall recruitment experience with demonstrated experience successfully sourcing passive candidates into the recruitment process, leading to high quality hire
- Sourcing experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred: Energy/ Utilities; Technical Consulting Services; Engineering; Oil & Gas; Maritime; Business certification
- Working knowledge of recruitment compliance issues and best practices to mitigate risk, particularly in OFCCP covered companies
- Proven ability to be creative in finding and connecting with passive candidates
- Understanding of current Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion trends, and ability to show creativity towards ensuring that recruitment efforts are as inclusive as possible
- Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter Certification desired
- Proficiency working with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred) and candidates sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Comfortable networking outside of own networks and making specific efforts to reach candidates, such as "cold calling"
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced recruitment environment
- Proficient in recruitment work use of major Microsoft Office Suite application (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) proficient with PowerBI and other advanced use of applications is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel on occasion
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
