Spencer Technologies is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our People & Culture Team. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a hiring strategy to attract exceptional people
- Source, recruit and hire in various positions within the company
- Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with hiring managers.
- Work closely with hiring managers and leaders within the organization to understand employment needs and improve candidate pool.
- Build candidate pools to meet hiring managers' needs utilizing various recruiting sources, including but not limited to online/print advertisements, resume databases, staffing agencies, career fairs, technical schools, colleges, and internal referrals.
- Interview, assess, and qualify potential candidates with regard to skill set, salary, and employment requirements.
- Participate in the hiring decision-making process
- Discuss with candidates the benefits of working at Spencer Technologies including salary, health insurance, 401(k), etc.
- Stay informed of industry trends, market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market for talent.
- Identify opportunities and work to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and practices.
- Participate in recruiting and talent management related and additional HR projects/initiatives.
- May require occasional travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 plus years' experience in Human Resources recruiting required.
- 1 year of Human Resources experience preferred (outside of recruiting).
- Familiar with Recruiting and Selection legislation and case law.
- Knowledge of common recruiting practices.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
- Highly organized with strict attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage an excessive workload.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and various Internet search engines.
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Medway, MA 02053: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Recruiting: 3 years (Preferred)
- Human resources: 1 year (Preferred)
