At Sager we have a high-energy team that supports our vision of understanding and satisfying our customers. We are currently looking for a DC Receiving Lead in our Middleboro, Massachusetts warehouse. Under the direction of the DC Supervisor, oversee and participate in the Receiving, Put Away, Order Picking, Packing, Shipping, Special Programs, and/or Inventory Management; coordinate the placement of employees in assigned areas to maximize the most efficient processing; maintain records and prepare related reports; serve as a lead over one or more assigned warehouse functions or areas; train and provide lead work direction and guidance to assigned staff. The role is also accountable for; meeting and exceeding companywide expectations in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, attendance, attitude/teamwork, cross training in all areas of operations as required, and other tasks and duties outside primary job function as assigned by management.

How you will spend your time:

• Lead the assigned area of DC and monitor the activities to maintain required levels of production.

• Train new employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Guide, motivate and advise employees in the various phases of their work.

• Promote teamwork and team building within the assigned section; demonstrate a positive "team" oriented attitude and approach toward all work assignments; maintain a high level of morale.

• Resolve DC problems within assigned section.

• Report any deficiencies or needs in the DC to DC Management.

• Contribute to the ongoing success of the entire Operations team by willingly accepting and embracing "other tasks and duties as assigned" along with willingness to help the department as a whole.

• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe and secure condition.

• Understand and comply with Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions.

• Actively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function.

• Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safe operating expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards.

We're excited if you have:

• Possession of a high school diploma, or equivalent.

• Experience in warehouse operations; including fork-lift experience.

• Ability to use the assigned tablet to monitor work flow in your assigned area.

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) & the ability to fill out online documents.

• Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the ability to read and write English and compute accurate business math at a level required for successful job performance.

• The ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs., reach, stand and move.
