Job description

Our Center Associates are responsible for delivering world-class customer service to all retail customers by

a) Receiving and processing packages for courier shipment, operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices;

b) Expertly advising customers, providing them with accurate information on the array of The UPS Store products, services, and best-value options;

c) Building customer confidence through their professionalism and knowledge of best practices in the industry.

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED, a positive attitude, professional appearance,and a friendly, genuinely helpful demeanor. He or she must be able tolift 45 pounds, demonstrate solid conversational English skills, and have a passion for giving the best possible customer service to our patrons.Normally it takes 2-6 months to be able to work alone in the store so this person must be a fast learner with solidskills in saleswho makes every effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

Candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance will be considered for promotion to managerial roles.
