Social Media Associate
We are an online retailer selling to the education, government, military and health care industries. All of our manufacturing is done at our Shrewsbury, MA location. Come join our fast-moving and faster-growing company now.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee social media channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Youtube) publishing relevant news and content to maximize engagement / ROI
  • Create and publish content shared across social media channels as well as blog outlets.
  • Oversee performance reports for social activities to track engagement and ROI
  • Prepare social and blog related collateral that can be repurposed for email marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the development of instructional videos and other marketing collateral
  • Stay current with social media trends and research new tools for platform management
  • Assist with digital marketing, advertising, press releases, and other initiatives as needed
  • Remain current on product assortment and related promotions
  • Lead small projects in collaboration with Director
  • Keep staff, departments and external parties informed of outbound marketing activities
  • Provide updates on project details and changes in a timely manner
  • Recommend alternative courses of action and implement changes when necessary
  • Project Management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least 1-3 years experience in the social media agency space
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in planning and executing marketing programs across the digital ecosystem
  • Be detail-oriented, organized and have very strong written, oral and grammatical skills
  • Be a team player, flexible with change and comfortable working on-the-fly
  • Competency in media math, terminology, and social media platform requirements, policies, etc.
  • Goal and detail-oriented, highly energetic and assertive for fast paced environment
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • HTML and CSS experience a plus
  • Experience with social network management software (like Sprout Social or HootSuite) and project management software (like ClickUp) a big plus

Schedule:
