Description:

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our new colleague is responsible for the effective utilization of volunteers in a manner consistent with the institution's goals. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the Volunteer Program. Position may require working at multiple locations.

Work Hours/Shift:

* Full-Time, 30 hours

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Exceptional Patient Care and Customer Service: Contributes to overall quality of care by treating all patients, colleagues and guests with respect and dignity.

* Excellent Communicator: Serves as liaison to the Volunteers in communicating Trinity Health Of New England information.

* Technical Familiarity: Maintains effective and appropriate staffing, ensuring the selection of qualified volunteer candidates. Effectively investigates, responds and takes corrective action for all complaints in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and seeks or provides additional information or training, as required.

* Active Teamwork: Provides leadership of the Volunteer Program; works with Executive Director in establishing and implementing business goals and objectives and in meeting regulatory and accrediting agency compliance.

Requirements:

* Education: Four-year apprenticeship program or equivalent.

* Experience: Two years' experience

* Licensure: None.

* Pass all background & drug testing
