Job description

Provide functional/technical support of installed PeopleSoft Financials Administration modules. Primary modules in use Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Purchasing. Analyze user requirements, procedures and problems; automate processing or improve existing business system operations. The PeopleSoft support team is comprised of two functional support staff for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, two developers and a director. The PeopleSoft Financials System Analyst is the principal functional support person for the finance system.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and analyze business processes for PeopleSoft Financials Suite;
- Analyze current operational procedures, identify problems and learn about specific requirements;
- Provide support to functional staff in the proper use of the system and related products;
- Work with financials staff to design new or improve existing procedures in support of operations using delivered functionality, where possible;
- Maintain communications and positive relations between users and the Office of Information Technology;
- Participate and represent the Office of Information Technology in meetings pertaining to the delivery of departmental services and computing initiative;
- Assist financials staff with creation of instructional manuals and documentation;
- Assist in the research, design and implementation of additional business applications within PeopleSoft or from third parties;
- Prepare data reports using Query Manager and nVision;
- Assist in the development of user test scripts;
- Provide support with implementation of PeopleSoft tools upgrades, patches and PUMs;
- Provide cross-functional support as assigned;
- Assist financials staff in support of functional users.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field, Master's preferred;
- Minimum 4 years' functional and/or technical support experience with PeopleSoft Financials;
- Ability to oversee user testing of patching, PUM and tools upgrades process;
- Experience with People Tools 8.5 and Financials 9.0 or newer releases;
- Previous experience with PeopleSoft patching, testing and PUM maintenance;
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a project-based team;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and analytical skills;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, meet ongoing deadlines, and perform all essential functions of the position;
- Experience with Microsoft Office software applications.
- Ability to manage relationships between functional users, financial office personnel and information technology technical developers;
- Willingness to learn and explore all aspects of PeopleSoft Financials as it relates to MassBay's business operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PeopleSoft Asset Management module or similar asset tracking software;

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $78,000.00 - 83,000.00 Annual Salary
