Field Service Technician -Boston Area.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

• Creates and maintains a safe working environment and culture within the organization
• Takes care of company property
• Works with RO/DI water systems and the pretreatment systems feeding them from municipal water supply.
• Proactively troubleshoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
• Anticipates and corrects safety issues - both company and customer-owned equipment
• May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers in a single day

• Customer-facing
• High utilization - on the road in each morning with scheduling responsibility to be most efficient considering safety first and customer satisfaction
• Highly accountable to customers for operation and repair of the systems

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma (or GED equivalent) - ideally with industry-relevant experience.
• technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience.
• Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices
• Must have customer service experience
• Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
• Basic controls ability (PLC)
• Able to pass a credit check and valid driver's license
• Must be able to function in a team environment
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs on a daily basis
• Must be willing and able to work an after-hours on-call rotation schedule, to include some overtime, weekend and Holiday work
  

Technical Skill Requirements:

Required:

• Plumbing experience
• Electrical experience

Preferred Requirements:

• PLC
• Pumps
• Motors
• High Purity Water Systems
