State Residential Status: Candidates should be a resident of Colorado, Indiana, Kansas or Michigan
Remote Flexibility: Remote offerings for experienced employees. Those with lesser experience &/or non-licensed will be required to be onsite, in Ada, MI, with the future potential for remote flexibility per policy requirements. If fully remote, some travel will be required throughout the year to visit the home-office in Ada, MI.
Regular Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET

USA Financial is seeking a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RECRUITING CONSULTANT. The ideal candidate will have either some industry experience successfully recruiting to a Broker/Dealer, RIA, FMO/IMO or a combination of the three, or a previous track record of successful sales experience. This role will be responsible for recruiting "right-fit" independent financial advisors to the USA Financial Platform(s) (BD/RIA/TAMP/IMO).
This role requires a self-starting individual (with a preference for some recruiting experience) to join the growing Business Development Team. However, USAF will ultimately choose the best candidate based on personality and fit over experience.
This experienced individual will be expected to effectively communicate with and recruit top-performing independent financial advisors. This role demands the ability to effectively recruit financial advisors to a RIA/BD/TAMP/IMO platform. The best match candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in similar environments. They are comfortable and effective at making 75-100+ phone calls daily (hot and cold), they handle rejection well, they possess no phone call reluctance, are comfortable and professional during virtual/video calls, and they thrive in an environment where they are motivated by closing perspective advisor recruits, commissions, incentives, and activity.
Success in this role means recruiting "right fit" advisors to a Discovery Day Experience, where at that point the Chief Business Development Officer, other Executive Leadership and Ownership, and a Senior Business Development Consultant will assist in finalizing the recruitment and transition. The BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RECRUITING CONSULTANT will not be responsible for the ongoing relationship and/or "wholesaling" of the financial advisor; rather, that will be handled by the team of Senior Business Development Consultants.
Simply put, a successful BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RECRUITING CONSULTANT is effective at getting "right-fit" advisors to the Discovery Day Experience (to pass the torch to the rest of the Business Development Team), and then is able to go back out and start again from scratch to find the next advisor! Robust recruiting tools/systems/processes and lead generation support are all provided!
This position demands excellence on the phones, persistency and commitment to a sound recruiting regimen, and the ability to close. A successful BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RECRUITING CONSULTANT will be able to articulate the unique value proposition of USA Financial with passion and conviction! They will be able to tell the story of how the many tools, systems, processes, and technology are available to help independent financial advisors build their ideal practice!
While this challenging position requires hard work to recruit "right-fit" financial advisors, it comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package. The opportunity allows for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RECRUITING CONSULTANT to earn a base salary and performance based monthly bonuses, all while working in the exciting environment of a fast-paced and growing team!
