Our Business Development Representative (BDR) positions will prepare you for an exciting and rewarding career in the highly competitive software sales arena. These positions will provide you with hands-on experience qualifying marketing leads within our Tax, Corporate & Legal businesses while building product knowledge and sales skills. You will work with a market leader, partnering with a world-class marketing organization to generate sales opportunities for a wide range of legal, corporate or government entities. The position offers a base salary and variable compensation that is directly related to your success. About the Role:

In this opportunity as Business Development Representative, you are expected to hit several key goals. These Include:

  • Hit or exceed your monthly and annual targets and maintain consistently strong performance at 100% of your YTD goals
  • Hit or exceed your daily contact targets and activity metrics
  • Actively engage in the coaching process, partnering well with managers and individuals on your teams to share ideas and learn from each other
  • Accurately, and in a timely manner, log all activities and customer contacts in Salesforce
  • Consistently live the Thomson Reuters culture and values

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Business Development Representative if you have/are:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills (personable and professional)
  • Ability to conduct self in a professional manner
  • Agile learners - Ability to learn something new
  • Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer's work day
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate software programs such as Microsoft
  • Experience in CRM preferred
  • Motivated and competitive with a positive attitude
