Petting Farm Manager

Job description

Domino's Farms Petting Farm (), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, with a mission to foster an understanding and appreciation of an agricultural lifestyle and to operate an animal petting farm for educational purposes, is looking for a manager to run the petting farm.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing daily oversight of the petting farm operation, including coordinating and overseeing animal care.
• Hiring, supervising, training and scheduling of staff employees (5-10 part-time).
• Training and supervising volunteers.
• Developing and overseeing programs for public visitors, including school field trips, birthday parties, special events and corporate picnics.
• Handling the operations for the petting farm, including managing 50,000 annual visitors and revenues of $300,000.
• Handling the financial operations for the petting farm, including preparing sales invoices, approving vendor invoices and budgeting.
• Working with various vendors and service providers, including those that provide veterinary and other care for the animals and those that provide other services to the farm.

This is a full-time position and includes benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, etc.) The Manager must be willing to work some weekends and/or events during the petting farm's peak season, April 1st to November 1st.
