Municipalities Representative IIIBusiness Analyst (Reporting) position
This position, Reporting Analyst, responsible for performing reporting duties delegated by and in support of the Program Governance lead. Responsibilities include collecting and organizing data and information from relevant sources for inclusion in reports, designing report templates, aggregating and disseminating reports, and monitoring the reporting schedule.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in gathering data and information for taking ownership of projects and tasks.
- Facilitates the production of periodic reporting and metrics for the GES department; collects, organizes, aggregates, and provides data and information from various GES units for inclusion in Reports.
- Designs report templates, drafts, and updates dashboards.
- Updates the system of record with new metrics or changes to existing metrics.
- Develop ad hoc senior management presentations that showcase trends, patterns of concern, or other relevant information.
- Responsibility for data quality, data standardization, and representation, support data retention plans, interpret data and metrics to produce valuable insights, identify potential risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Review and strategically analyze data providing credible challenges to, and robust quality checks of results that appear erroneous or exceptional; provides oversight of the validation of data submitted.
- Monitors the Program governance and reporting environment to uncover issues before they become systematic.
- Monitor and ensure proper controls are in place to identify and mitigate compliance risks that may lead to regulatory, reputational, or financial exposure.
- Possess or develop a working knowledge and understanding of consumer regulations especially the Prepaid Rules and apply the knowledge to ensure the program is following all regulations.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years' experience solving complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and implement solutions
- 4 years' experience working with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power point, Access & Outlook) & Power BI
- 4 years' experience working with data and metrics from across different units to create a clear and concise executive summary
- 4 years' experience in compliance, risk governance, or related experience
