Job description

**Description:**

This position is responsible for safely and effectively operating the plant equipment to ensure the products manufactured meet the quality and quantity standards set by the organization. Operates equipment following SOP's and Supervision instructions. Completes required documentation as required completely and neatly. Adjusts equipment and process settings to ensure that production is performed per SOP and instructions. Inspects and maintains the equipment to ensure safety and proper processing. Performs routine analytical testing as required to properly control the process. Completes daily shift production logs. Excellent computer skills; familiarity with operation software. Experience working with lab testers and plant equipment.

-At the present time manufacturing is working 5 X 12 hour days a week (20 hours of overtime) during fermentation weeks and shifts to 5 X 8 hour days a week whenever fermentation is not running.

-The plan for bringing additional production in house was to hire staff and finish out 2021 working 5 X 8 hour days a week while the training was completed. This would cut the 20 hours of overtime per week.

-At the end of 2021 we would be able to start running 24 X 7 with the following shift schedule which still decreases the overtime that we are presently working with the 5 twelve hour days.
