Working as part of a truly global battery team, you will be responsible for locating and evaluating materials required to develop truly world class 21700 battery cells, ensuring the integrity of materials selected suit the design and achieve the required Wh/kg

Your tasks will include:
• Anode electrode design & development for 21700 cell type & Pouch type cell, choice of active material, conductive material, binder & electrolyte
• Slurry mixing and evaluation: acquiring basic mixing information for successful anode coating
• Electrode fabrication and evaluation such as electrolyte soaking, electrode spring-back ratio, and adhesion test
• Cell fabrication and evaluation: Lead coin cell fabrication and evaluation will be essential
• Electro chemical tests including swelling, EIS, Li plating, rate capability, cyclability, high temperature and low temperature characteristics; data organization and analysis will be very important part since it will give a clue to selection of material and also direction of improvement
• Lead & Train eng/tech/ops for routine cell fabrication & test method, and data summary

You will be assigned to specific battery cell projects to follow-up the specific needs of the cell development around the anode. - The ultimate goal of anode and or Cathode activity is its successful incorporation into a cell that radically improves our vehicle performance.

Required profile:

Possessing a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Material Science or similar, you will be highly passionate and adept in the use of unique material formulations used to enhance battery performance. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Lithium-Ion Battery development arena, you will be technically able to fix issues on time and be able to detect issues early to fool proof material composition.

As such they now require experts in the field of Silicon Anodes and /or LFP/NMC Cathodes to achieve their mission.
