Job description

Overall Objective

The Social department offers marketing solutions for the Chevrolet Local Marketing Associations (LMAs) and their Dealers. The Social Strategist's primary responsibility is to deliver insights and analytics to the Social Account Directors in the field and support the Social Media Field Director. This position is based at Agency 720's headquarters in downtown Detroit.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support Regional Social Account Directors with program development & management
  • Support Social Field Director
  • Deliver insights and Analysis from Test and Learns to Social Account Directors
  • Paid media responsibilities
  • Support Monthly Reporting as needed
  • Ensure accurate program deployment through QA processes
  • Offer Strategy/Development
  • Creative Strategy/New Opportunities
  • Social Platform and Data partner Vendor relationship management
  • Manage Media Agency collaboration relative to program strategy
  • Collaborate with Creative on strategic solutions (Production liaison)
  • Prepare and Communicate Audience Targeting recommendations and related to Social Ad products


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business-related OR relevant, equivalent experience
  • 2-3 yrs of Agency experience in a Social or Media-related role
  • Must know PowerPoint and Excel (advanced Excel knowledge preferred) and be familiar with MS Teams and SmartSheet
  • Knowledgeable about the automotive industry (Tier 2 or dealer business) and how Social Media can fit in their marketing solutions and communication plan
  • Understands Digital & Social landscape
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong time management skills
  • Resourceful and have the ability to take initiative/anticipate the next step on projects and assignments
  • Passion for social media, involved personally in social media via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or similar
  • Must work well with various outside Agency partners
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with people at all levels of an organization
