Job description

Knowledge Required

* Minimum of high school graduate; bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related area is preferred
* Minimum one to three years of experience in HR or payroll administration
* Proficiency in the use of computer and business related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
* Working knowledge of ADP HR/Payroll and Workforce Time & Attendance systems preferred
* Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization and culture

Skills and abilities

* Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking; ability to speak, read and understand Spanish is a plus
* Proficiency in the use of business math
* Ability to maintain and safeguard confidential and sensitive information
* Ability to successfully communicate with all organizational levels
* Ability to communicate clearly via phone and email with plant administrators and co-workers
* Ability to use various office equipment (computer, scanner, etc)
* Ability to work hours mandated by management
* Ability to pass a drug test
