We have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned business areas. The role will focus on sourcing, scheduling, interviewing potential candidates as well as preparing offers of employment and on-boarding new hires. Additional responsibilities include creating positive candidate experiences and developing long-term recruiting strategies, aligned with corporate business strategies that result in a strong talent network to support current and future hiring goals.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages the talent acquisition process to support the business including but not limited to reviewing requests for postings, working with departments to ensure positions are approved, reviewing job description and discussing essential job requirements, qualifications, etc. with hiring manager, screens candidates, forwarding qualified candidates to hiring manager, ensures background checks are completed, prepares and makes offers and participates in the on-boarding process
  • Administer and maintain the requisition and recruitment process within our Applicant Tracking System ensuring best practice processes and recommending updates and improvements as necessary
  • Proactively partners with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify talent recruitment needs in support of the business which includes discussions regarding expectations, challenges and strategies
  • Develop long-term and immediate sourcing strategies and communicate best practices using a consultative, employee and customer-focused approach to ensure effective attraction, assessment, and selection of a high performing, diverse and sustainable talent pipeline customized strategies for different project timing and skill set requirements
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the AAA Life business and employer brand in order to ensure candidates are well informed and aligned with our mission, values, and business goals
  • Identify and monitor success metrics (in partnership with stakeholders), and establish reporting cadences for recruitment metrics such as time to fill, interview to offer ratios, hiring manager satisfaction, and create action plans, as needed
  • Builds relationships with community services, local chambers, colleges, employment agencies, media and internet sites in order to connect with potential candidates
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to provide recommendations for process improvements which increase the effectiveness of services to provide best in class candidate and customer experience, drive increased quality of hire, decrease time to fill and enable excellence throughout the full lifecycle recruiting process
  • Development and delivery of presentations that communicate the long-term sourcing strategy, challenges, and opportunity areas for the various/assigned business units
  • Support talent acquisition projects from inception to delivery that will enable the acquisition of top talent required to meet strategic objectives that will provide AAA Life with a competitive advantage

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required
  • 4 years' of recruiting experience
  • Strong communication, organization and follow-up skills
  • Experience working on a corporate HR team highly preferred
