Job description

Responsibilities/Qualifications:
A senior living facility is looking for a Business Office Manager. The primary responsibility will be to maintain the efficient flow of the facility, working with other supervisors to achieve operational goals as defined by leadership.

  • Supports Managing Director
  • Oversees the financial aspects of the business, such as billing, banking and accounting
  • Contact contractors and vendors for their services, such as billing agencies and accounting services
  • Responsible for all aspects of hiring requirements, personnel files and collections of past due accounts
  • Supervises the selection and ordering of supplies
  • Makes sure that educational pamphlets and brochures of services are readily available for residents
  • Oversees the development and implementation of marketing practices while maintaining an appropriate office environment.
  • Other duties as required

Requirements
  • Experience with seniors is highly recommended
  • Managing staff, including hiring and dismissal
  • HR experience
  • Accounts receivable and payable firing
