Sr. Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for supporting the development and continuous improvement of standardized tools, and processes used to conduct proactive and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance of the business. Our goal is to provide Executive Management greater visibility and organizational focus, to support the achievement of Brasscraft's long-term business objectives. Partnering with Corporate and Operational Accounting, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, this function serves as the analytical engine of the company and provides insights to support optimal business decision making.

This role reports to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual business plan preparation
• Analyze operating results and monthly forecast and provide management with a clear understanding of the company's financial performance and key business drivers including analyzing results by channel, customer, and product line.
• Implementation of process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
• Participate in designing and implementing financial processes, controls, and enabling systems which will be critical to the future growth of the business
• Support operational accounting through month-end close process as necessary
• Manage the periodic cost roll process to update current and standard product cost decks.
• Review, analyze, and resolve errors and discrepancies from periodic cost exception reports to ensure integrity in the numbers and inventory is valued correctly
• Complete proforma cost analysis requests
• Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years of relevant FP&A and Cost experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing finance
• Advanced MS Excel & PPT
• Statistical Modeling experience
• MS Power BI experience
• Experience in the following systems: JDE, ReportNow or ERP system

• Advanced level in Microsoft Office applications, advanced level MS Excel user

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Experience with JDE, Hyperion Financial Management, Stratum and data mining
• Familiarity with the plumbing industry and products
• CPA
