Job description

Nesco Resource is seeking Production Associates to work with our long-term client in Rochester Hills, MI.

We are in need of associates for 1st Shift, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays.

This company specializes in remanufacturing automotive parts. Associates will work with other team members to disassemble/assemble entire products or components. Associates will move the products through the entire process, which includes disassembly, cleaning, washing, repairing, and re-assembly. The ideal associates will be detail-oriented and dedicated to their position, attendance is very important, must be there daily. The associate will also need to do the Quality inspection on the parts throughout the entire process. If you are interested in a long-term growth opportunity, please submit your resume.

Qualifications: Familiar with hand tools.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
Able to work well within a team. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements Background check/drug screen,
Steel toe boots.

Job Duties: Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed components. Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
