Our manufacturing client is looking for a HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR for their office in Romulus on a direct hire basis.

Job Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage time and attendance daily for hourly and salary employees in ADP
  • New Hire orientations for hourly and salary employees
  • Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into payroll systems etc.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support:
  • Data Entry- All HR requirements i.e., ADP, Plex, Fidelity etc.
  • Recruitment for open salary and hourly opportunities
  • Audit time and attendance for Company incentives, and continuous improvement programs
  • Ensure wage increases are managed per CBA for hourly and salary employees.
  • Field queries from the public and internal customers
  • Fill in for HR Assistant during breaks, lunch, and/or vacation.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents as requested.
  • Excel - creating Pivot tables V Look up, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office.
  • Manage pay adjustments and provide personnel change form to payroll
  • Ensure HRIS system is updated regarding transfers, resignations, terminations, disciplines etc.
  • Manage/track leave of absences, vacation, sick time, and absences per the collective bargaining agreement
  • Coordinate programs for open enrollment or special programs.
  • Ensure UIA is managed within specific time period
  • Employee engagement and succession planning
  • Control inventory relevant to ordering uniforms, entering data in Excel and ADP
  • Ability to work 1 -2 Saturdays per month ( 4 hours)
  • Some overtime may be required
  • Local travel for employee engagements (attending)

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong Excel experience ( V Look up, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc)
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail
  • 3-4 years human resource experience
  • Must have 4 years plus time and attendance experience
  • Must have E-Time experience
  • Degree e a plus
  • ADP Workforce Experience
  • Someone who is analytical and experience with Time and Attendance and/or Payroll software
  • This person will be working directly with the Payroll department quite a bit…so needs to be able to communicate well and be organized and detail oriented
  • Worked with UAI Office
  • Analytical and well versed with FMLA (Experience with LT & ST Disability
  • Data Entry and will work on internal Special Projects (Ex uniforms for hourly and salaried employees)
