Manager, Business Analysis
The Manager, Business Analysis contributes to the company' s various business initiatives and technology-enabled process improvement projects by leading the Business Analysis function within the Innovation Team. The Manager, Business Analysis will lead a team of Business Analysts and is responsible for coaching, mentoring, training, and overall development of the team in the areas of eliciting business requirements, documenting clear and concise requirements documentation and project artifacts, and more.

Duties for the Manager, Business Analysis:

• Responsible for resource planning, including coordination of resource assignments.
• Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
• Adheres to Suns Timekeeping Policy by reviewing, verifying accuracy, approving and submitting direct report(s) time recorded.
• Partners with Team Relations on team member counseling and recommendation of termination when appropriate.
• Conducts team member performance reviews and recommends compensation adjustments.
• Develops strong relationships with peers in other functional areas to ensure effective processes and communication channels are established to support successful projects.
• Serves as an escalation point for the Business Analysis Team, addresses issues proactively, and escalates appropriately.
• Drives compliance and accountability of team standards, including consistent requirements documentation and utilization of the teams project management software.
• Shadows team members and provides constructive, real-time feedback.
• Reviews documentation, provides feedback to team members, and ensures delivery of high-quality project artifacts from the BA Team.
• Works collaboratively with project teams to answer challenging business questions.
• Identifies and addresses strengths and weaknesses within the BA Team.
• Trains and mentors the BA Team to help team members achieve their professional goals.
• Adapts to changes in the business; prioritizes quickly and communicates changes effectively.
• Promotes Suns culture and service-oriented philosophy.

The Manager, Business Analysis will work collaboratively with stakeholders from the Project Management Team, Software Development Team, Quality Assurance Team, and other teams to coordinate resources, provide input to project timelines, ensure projects stay within scope, and ensure project team members stay in sync.

Requirements for the Manager, Business Analysis:

• Bachelor' s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Management, or related field (Required)
• Master' s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Management, or related field (Preferred)
• 10+ years progressive experience in a business analysis related field
• 3 years leadership experience and direct oversight of BAs in a medium to large, diverse organization
• IIBA or PMI-PBA Certification
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and embrace change
• Demonstrated success in leadership
• Strong customer service skills
• Advanced computer proficiency
• Extensive knowledge of business analysis tools, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence others and hold people accountable
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels within an organization
• Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Work attitude that exhibits drive, assertiveness, judgment, decision making, dependability, and ambition
