Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for cultivating new and direct merchant relationships. This role will encompass an ongoing account management function due to our company philosophy of building long-standing relationships with our clients. The Business Development Executive is also responsible for prospecting new merchants and independently mining for opportunities to establish merchant accounts and gateway relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute on successful business plans to meet and exceed the objectives set by the Leadership Team
• Coordinate opportunities with members of leadership for joint calling to facilitate prospecting and closing of new business
• Attend tradeshows both in-person and virtually to provide targeted marketing opportunities.
• Produce weekly reports benchmarking progress on sales pipeline and closed deals
• Independently mine/prospect for new opportunities
• Identify new lead generation opportunities and strategies

Education and Experience (required):

• B2B sales and related payment processing experience
• Experience identifying and employing new lead generation strategies

Education and Experience (preferred):

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of B2B sales experience
• Experience with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
• Experience with financial technology, electronic payments or business management solutions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (required):

• Ability to deploy sales methods that effectively produce top line revenue growth
• Proven accomplishment in overachieving sales quota
• Demonstrated success at building and maintaining appropriate pipeline level

Working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
