Description

SAIC has a potential opportunity for a Master Scheduler to support the U.S. Army Military Ground Vehicle Systems. The work will be located in Warren, MI.

This position is contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date November 2022.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop a detailed Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all product activities considered important to the product teams success and present IMS data in a clear and concise manner consistent with accepted schedule management techniques and processes.
  • Support project leads with schedule status reviews and schedule update meetings.
  • Perform IMS health checks and what-if analysis using government-approved software at the request of USG team leads.
  • Maintain project schedules and provide status briefs to Project Managers (PMs) and other staff.
  • Perform schedule assessments to ensure that schedules align appropriately with PM and Army-level timelines, particularly pertaining to Capabilities Sets and System of Systems fielding plans.
  • Proactively analyze and critique project progress and status updates for C4ISR systems vehicle integration efforts.
  • Develop and/or provide inputs to plans of execution to include scope, budget, resource needs, material needs, and schedule.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. A Masters degree may be substituted for one year of general experience
  • A minimum total of six years' experience in development of Project or Program Schedules using Microsoft Project Enterprise Server.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills are needed to handle multiple task/projects and to work independently.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills are also required to work well with all levels of staff and managers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

Must possess all three of the following certifications:
  • Managing Program and Projects with Project Server Exam 74-344
  • Managing Projects with Microsoft Project 2013 Exam 74-343
  • PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) R credential

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Can start work with Interim Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
