As a Supply Chain Intern, you will get broad exposure to our Supply Chain organization and leadership team. There will be two primary areas of focus. The Internship will drive performance and process improvements within our Procurement and Order Fulfillment teams.

General Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain operations, logistics or business
  • Minimum 3.0 G.P.A.
  • Demonstrated leadership in school, academic, and industry related clubs

Order Fulfillment Responsibilities:

  • Manage order fulfillment process internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for keeping customers communications up to date and delivering exceptional customer service for day-to-day order processing.
  • Coordinate the closing of month end sales with Finance as required
  • Ensure all external sales orders are entered promptly in the system, completed with accuracy, and follow all company document control procedures.
  • Partner with a cross functional work groups as necessary to resolve customer order related issues and meet customers' expectations on order fulfillment.

Procurement Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate purchase orders in ERP system to assure smooth process from receipt to payment for raw materials and packaging.
  • Review Open Purchase Orders in replenishment file and follow up on any late PO's
  • Facilitate the resolution of any discrepancy issue between supplier/receiving
  • Facilitate the resolution of any discrepancy issue between supplier/accounting
  • Daily communication with plant buyer and procurement leaders with unresolved issues.

Length of Internship

  • Flexible length internship from 6 to 12 months
  • Part-time hours (30) during school semesters and full-time hours (40) during summer
