In this role, you will execute quality related testing of raw materials, compounds, and calendared material.

Core Responsibilities

* Assure the sampling of mixed compound and calendared material at the required frequency as per the plant Quality Management System (QMS)
* Conduct testing of in-process key quality characteristics in accordance with the QMS over-inspection requirements
* Record and evaluate test results and report acceptance or rejection in accordance with the QMS using the Continental Lab System
* Assure lab compliance to ISO/TS 16949
* Laboratory housekeeping - according to 5S principles

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

* High school diploma/GED in a related field
* 1+ years of experience in a lab or manufacturing environment
* Good verbal and writing communication
* Good attention to detail
* Knowledge of tire compound technology
* Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO/TS16949, CCC - laboratory scope)
* Ability to follow precise written instructions
* Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in tire manufacturing
* Associate's Degree in a related field
