For this job specifically, we need someone to work at our Operations office in Hamilton, AL. The tasks involved with this role cannot be completed sufficiently without actively being in the office. Here, we will provide all of the tools you need to succeed.

Loan Officers are responsible for assisting clients with any needs, questions, and/or concerns regarding payment amount, due date, pay histories, monthly billing statements and any other inquires in regards to the repayment process.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Review and document servicing accounts.
• Call delinquent borrowers to collect payments and/or discuss reason for fault.
• Absorb trained knowledge to understand how to discuss possible loss mitigation options.
• Answer inbound calls and respond to inbound email messages, and/or fax messages.
• Assist with customer requests and/or issues.
• Process payments and/or assist borrower with payment portals on the website or the automated phone payment system.
• Research payment.
• Be knowledgeable of the waterfall in order to discuss with borrowers.
• Assist with telephone collections and customer complaints.
• Track promises and percentages and process monthly reports.
• Be knowledgeable on the servicing requirements for FHA and Fannie Mae.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What We Need from You:

• Minimum education: High school diploma.
• Working knowledge of computers and software, such as: Microsoft Excel, Word, Scheduler, and Exchange.
• Ability to work well with others as a team.
• Familiar with related laws such as Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and CFPB. (preferred)
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptionally detailed, focused, and motivated professional.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Initiative to be self-directive and proactive with your time.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and remain focused within normal noise leveled cubical workspace.
