Quality Control Analyst
Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified, full-time, fully-benefited, direct-hire, Quality Control Analyst for one of our clients. The position is in in North Kansas City, MO and the need to fill this position is immediate.
Summary of the Position:
The Quality Control Analyst perform analytical tests independently and accurately as written in test procedures. The analyst will also fulfill customer sample order requests per current procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Test samples are to be gathered and tested within expected time frame, results entered in SAP and retains stored as required
- Maintain complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with Company policy and record keeping procedure
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks for both the laboratory environment and testing equipment
- Assist with minor laboratory equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- Support customer pre-ship sample order requests by obtaining packaging and shipping samples requested in the sample order database
- Prepare and ship samples for external laboratory testing
- Perform testing and conduct analysis for special projects and nonconforming product investigations
- Fill laboratory shift vacancies, as needed
- Assist with maintaining and updating laboratory procedures.

Qualifications/Education/Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field (minimum 2 years' experience working in a laboratory environment)
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, database, spreadsheet, and statistical analysis experience
- Strong analytical, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience and compliance with laboratory bench practices and equipment management
- Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of integrity and sincerity
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Good attendance record

Hours: 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p or 7p-7a; hours TBD
