ADESA Auto Auction in Belton, MO has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner. ADESA is a fast paced, ever changing, but relaxed work environment. This position will support the 100 + onsite employees as well as work as part of a District HR Team that supports multiple sites in multiple states This position is located on-site at the Belton, MO facility. ADESA is a subsidiary of KAR Global, headquarters in Carmel, IN and offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary plus medical, dental, vision, 401k, ESPP, life insurance, disability coverage, parental leave, and generous PTO.

Responsibilities & Duties:

* The HR Business Partner is the primary point of contact for all HR needs including recruiting, compensation, training, employee relations, leave of absence and payroll,

* Talent Acquisition - identify talent needs and manage the recruiting and onboarding process

* Work closely with management on talent development and performance optimization

* Assist in safety awareness education and training programs

* Address employee relations issues and advise and counsel management regarding employee issues

* Administer leave of absence programs

* Assist with Workers Compensation administration

* Conduct Investigations regarding any misconduct

* Promote and coordinate local employee community involvement, newsletters, and employee events

* Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance

* Assist with Kronos timekeeping

* Utilize Workday HRIS

* Conduct management training on interviewing, performance management, and management fundamentals.

* Participate in enterprise-wide HR projects

Educational Requirements & Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of HR experience

* Must have knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration, policies, procedures, and employment law.

* Experience with MS Office, payroll and timekeeping systems, and recruiting systems is also required.

* Valid Driver's License required.
