Purpose of Role
The Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and executing recruiting for Red Collar company wide. Our corporate office is located in Franklin, TN. We have manufacturing facilities located California, Oklahoma, Missouri, Ohio and South Carolina. The Recruiter will be based in the Joplin, MO area. The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruitment, selection process and onboarding for all Company locations. The Recruiter will work most generally as hybrid between remote working and Joplin facility. The Recruiter is responsible for traveling to Company facilities to conduct in person job fairs, social networking, in person interviews, etc. The Recruiter must be bilingual in English and Spanish to support the needs of our facilities.
Principal Accountabilities
• Maintain and manage online recruiting database
• Utilize all methodologies for recruiting to include but not limited to social media, social networking and job fairs
• Screen candidate resumes and job applications
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection methods to filter candidates
• Assess applicant's relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Act as point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• Promote the Company's reputation as "best place to work"
• Support the broader HR team with projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
• Ability to manage through highly confidential situations and information
• HR Employment Law & HR compliance knowledge
• Ability to prioritize a high volume of activities in an open work environment with frequent distractions.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint and basic experience with Word and Outlook
• Strong Conflict Management skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
Minimum Qualifications
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Minimum 2 years of proven, successful recruiting experience for multiple locations within an organization
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekends, as needed, to support recruiting efforts
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites, as needed, to support onsite and community job fairs, networking, etc
• Basic knowledge of legal regulation that could impact recruiting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
