Summary


The Content Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for day-to-day execution of marketing team activities. Manages priorities, ensures deadlines are met, and communicates project status. Collaborates with marketing, sales, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of the company, our partners, and our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities


Essential Functions

  • Create and publish engaging, multi-media thought leadership content.
  • Manage development of videos, infographics, blog posts, articles, white papers, webinars, and other marketing content. This involves writing and creating content, collaborating with team members to create content, and managing external vendors to create content.
  • Develop thorough understanding of the payment processing industry, our current / potential partners customers (Merchants, Bank Partners, Association Partners, Software Partners), and the most successful methods to gain their attention.
  • Collaborate with team members on distribution of content through BASYS email marketing, and email marketing from partners to potential customers.
  • Work with the marketing team to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns that utilize multiple marketing channels to achieve significant lead generation, and the greatest return on investment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work with team members to continually update and refresh multi-media thought leadership content.
  • Optimize multi-media thought leadership content using SEO.
  • Promote brand guidelines, and enforce consistency of brand image and brand messaging.
  • Effectively utilize social media channels to distribute multi-media thought leadership content.
  • Manage presence on relevant social media channels.
  • Project Manage occasional RFPs for potential partners including reviewing and editing for readability.
  • Collaborate on analyzation of marketing data (campaign result, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Other activities and projects as assigned.

Requirements


Education & Experience

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or comparable
  • A minimum of 2-4 year of post-graduate experience in marketing content creation
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM

Computer Skills

  • Website design and management software - WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Social Media for business - LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo
  • Understanding of HTML language
  • Marketing Automation software - Marketo, Hubspot, Act-On, Pardot, or similar
  • Graphic Design software - Photoshop / Illustrator
  • Video editing software - Adobe Premiere, or similar
