About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. This position will be involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test execution and test case automation.
Essential Functions
- Define, track, and document quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
- Test web-based applications, browser testing, and responsive design testing
- Develop requirements, design analysis, and best practice infused test plans and test scripts
- Automate test cases for existing functionality. This includes the execution of existing automation test scripts as well as personally writing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Ability to evaluate and communicate test results and analysis
- Ability to architect, develop and debug medium to complex level automation scripts
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with others
- Strong active listening skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong knowledge of TFS or similar Agile Project Management Tools
- Knowledge of automation best practices
- Experience with various technologies including XML, Web Services, .Net, JAVA and SQL, Putty, SQL Query, Soap UI
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 2+ years' experience writing and performing automated and open source software testing
