Operations Foreman

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Foreman's job is to execute the day-to-day operations at the grain cleaning facility including loading, unloading, bagging, and operating equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promote a safe working environment at the facility.
2. Maintain facility operating procedures for loading and unloading van trucks and grain trucks.
3. Responsible for backing in van trailers.
4. Responsible for Maintenance and Housekeeping oversight at the facility.
5. Adhere to Loss Prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
6. Manage schedules of laborers.
7. Deliver good customer service in all job functions.
8. Additional duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience in operating production machinery is essential
2. Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management staff.
3. Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
4. Must possess strong math skills
5. Must be mechanically inclined
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
