World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT) currently has an opening for an Associate Analyst - Logistics and Manufacturing as a part of our Internal IT Application Services Team in St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the on-going development and support of existing IT Logistics team.
  • Participate in strategic projects that improve operational efficiency across WWT's global supply chain organization
  • Provide business process design services to optimize both internal and customer-facing processes and solutions.
  • Gather business requirements, create design documentation, perform system setup (Boundary and custom applications), and prepare gap/interface functional specifications.
  • Analyze data flow within the Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Cloud Projects and various boundary and custom web applications to resolve issues and to identify process improvements.
  • Testing the end-to-end solution to ensure complete satisfaction of internal and external users.
  • Analyze applications on supported database technologies and programming platform.
  • Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree preferably in computer science or Management Information System or Supply Chain
  • 0-3 years of experience in performing business or system analysis.
  • Ability to understand user requirements and translate that into technical requirements.
  • Fundamental understanding of SQL and PL/SQL and relational database.
  • Experience or understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of Oracle Inventory or other supply chain modules will be preferred
  • Ability to enjoy collaboration, with a preference for face-to-face communication.
  • Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated
  • Ability to thrive in a very agile environment with evolving requirements
  • Ability to be innovative, have outside-the-box creativity, and present alternative ideas functionally and technically
  • To be a good active listener and communicator
  • Support and participate in key decision-making regarding application architecture
