RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst Finance in Saint Louis, MO. Summary: The client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will join the IT team supporting financial systems including the configuration of a cloud-based ERP in a fast growing, fast-paced environment. This person must be well experienced in financial process areas and can become a partner with our financial leaders to influence, recommend, and implement IT solutions. This person must have excellent communication and analytical skills, knowledge of agile, cloud-based deployments, cloud configuration and customization, and data visualization skills using tools such as Power BI or other BI tools. Responsibilities:

• Business Analyst will gather requirements, communicate effectively to various levels in the business, and have a technical understanding to help deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business
• Research and analyze associated technology that support a variety of financial processes (i.e., financial close and consolidations, GL interfaces from Payables and Receivables, intercompany eliminations, currency conversions, budgeting, auditing, and financial planning)
• Support data collection and analysis of standard cost and other operational data
• Support generation of various financial, tax, variance, and ad hoc reporting
• As a Business Analyst, you will lead financial projects including preparing and communicating status reports that track scope, issues, budget, and timeline; They will also be responsible for the quality of the solution by ensuring the proper testing and standards are met
• Prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment and possess a high sense of urgency

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of business analysis experience working on complex problems and producing concrete, actionable solutions
• Combinations of related education and experience may be considered
• Business systems analyst experience in financial cloud applications
• Proficiency in application design techniques, configuration, and documentation of cloud-based applications
• Ability to review a technical design document to ensure developers are aligned with functional requirements
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a virtual team environment
• Detail oriented, quick learners who demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work

Ideal candidate will also have:

• Knowledge of SQL and ability to demonstrate a technical aptitude
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of data analytical tools such as Power BI or other BI tools
