Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Partner will help us hire A-players to work at our state-of-the-art production facility, Egg Central Station (ECS). You'll run the recruiting process from start to finish with a focus on providing a positive experience for all stakeholders. Hiring needs evolve rapidly at ECS and have a direct and immediate impact on our ability to meet production demands. You will develop strong relationships within the business in order to anticipate needs and adapt to changes with an appropriate sense of urgency coupled with lots of creative ideas to help you find the best talent out there. You will be the face of Vital Farms in the Springfield community, representing the company in candidate communications, career and industry events and events which support and engage the local community. Partnering with the ECS leadership team, the Talent Acquisition Team and our Vital Farms talent team, you will move mountains to ensure our ECS production facility is staffed to meet production demands 365 days a year. That is no small feat!
What you bring to the table:
- You must have at least 2 years of recruiting experience Agency or In House. Experience recruiting hourly roles in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus
- You are tech savvy and use all the data at your disposal to tell a story. Experience with an ATS is required, Lever Talent Suite is a strong plus.
- You have strong networking abilities and strong community ties in Springfield.
- You are an "outside the box" thinker and have experience developing recruiting strategies.
- You have the ability to work onsite 3 days per week.
- You are available to travel 10% of the time for career fairs, industry events, etc.
- You role-model Vital Farms values at all times and in all interactions and you have a genuine passion for our mission.
- You believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.
- You are an "own it, fix it, do it" kind of person. You're proactive and solutions focused. You make things happen- even if it isn't in this job description.

- Leverage a variety of tools and technologies to help hiring managers efficiently and objectively evaluate candidates. This may include but is not limited to: ATS questionnaires, pre-employment assessments, on-site career fairs, the WHO interview method, and behavioral interview questions
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator and hiring managers to efficiently move potential candidates through the interview process
- Foster and nurture relationships across all key stakeholder groups. Contribute to the overall success of the recruiting team, the broader talent team and our team at ECS.
