Fenix Construction Company, a leading regional concrete contractor, is currently seeking Carpenter Foremen for our St. Louis division. We are looking for experienced Carpenters for long-term, steady employment, with a priority being placed on candidates with tilt-up experience.Key Responsibilities: Responsible for developing a project plan with Project ManagerUnderstands project information and can identify obstacles and opportunities for the project team.Prepares job site employees to execute daily plan.Utilizes and files time sheets, extra work tickets, and daily progress reports.Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met.Manages job site employees and makes necessary adjustments to meet schedule.Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.Qualifications: Good organizational and communication skills.5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform General Contractor or Concrete Contractor.Self-perform experience of concrete is required.Seeking someone with a variety of commercial/industrial concrete experience, with an emphasis on tilt-up warehousing projects.Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.Working Conditions: Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time up to ten (10) hours per day.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry formsMust be eligible to join the local Union.Must work safe at all times.Exposure to the elements - heat, cold, rain, windThis position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement. According to the terms of the CBA, applicants who are selected will be required to join the appropriate union with a certain period after hire.
