Position at JBS USA Food Company

This position is responsible for strategically executing the full cycle recruitment process for all JBS employees by identifying the best candidate for all open roles. Day to day activities include assisting with job descriptions, developing recruiting strategies, posting positions, job fairs, reviewing resumes, pre-screening and interviewing applicants, scheduling interviews, making offers, and completing pre-employment requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define appropriate strategies to fill open positions in a timely manner
  • Utilize recruiting tools to actively source candidates for key positions
  • Conduct phone screens and/or on site interviews with candidates to determine technical skills and culture fit with JBS
  • Assist with continuous improvement of recruiting processes, strategies, etc.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with external recruiting sources including temporary agencies, recruiting agencies, advertising mediums, etc.
  • Assist with recruiting related compliance requirements including EEO compliance and applicant tracking
  • Assist with execution of offer and pre-hire paperwork to ensure all new hire requirements are delivered to candidates and completed in a timely manner
  • Contribute to company-wide hiring and HR initiatives. Share responsibility for improving the overall Recruiting function by increasing knowledge, taking on new responsibilities, and suggesting new and improved methodology.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years previous experience in direct sourcing and recruiting passive candidates required
  • Experience using JobVite and other active sourcing tools
  • Strong organizational, follow up and negotiation skills required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle high work volume
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee related information
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Bilingual preferred but nor required (Spanish, Somali, Sudanese Etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year experience preferred dealing with I-9's and knowledge of acceptable documents for employment purposes
  • SAP, JobVite, Kronos or other experience a plus
