Job description

**Aerotek has partnered with a local underground utility company looking for field laborers. Candidates can enjoy these benefits when hired on:**

**Description:**

+ The Laborer will work on a team of 5-6 people and answer to the foreman on the job site who will be the lead operator.

+ Most of the work will be around underground water utilities and water control plans for sites including silt ponds and drainage trenches. duties on site include helping dig trenches, setting pipe, and moving dirt, laying rock, and assisting the operator in the movement of materials

+ Setting Stringline, stringing pipe, grouting Manholes, and tarring products as needed

+ Ability to read and understand grade stakes

+ Prepare tools for use on job site in AM

+ Use of tools such as Lasers, locators, shovels, forms, ladders, saws, hammers, etc.

+ All work will be completed by hand, and use some hand tools to tie rebar.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**

+ Valid DL and reliable transportation

+ Lift 50 Lbs to /from ground level to truck level

+ Must be able to climb in and out of trench repeatedly

+ Min 6 month previous construction experience (general construction OR utility construction).

+ Candidates will need to be able to work long hours in adverse weather conditions.
