The Job

The Research Team at Buildertrend delivers core business insights and empowers individuals throughout the company to learn directly from our users. We seek a Research Operations Lead to develop and maintain scalable, best-practice operations for our growing team. The specialist can expect to work alongside researchers primarily, and will regularly interact with data science, customer experience, product, design, marketing, and legal.

Responsibilities

• Own the tactical logistics of the research lifecycle, including (but not limited to) participant recruitment, scheduling, scripting, and compensation
• Maintain tooling and vendor relationships
• Educate and support research team partners across the organization
• Manage research insights and make them accessible across the organization
• Identify core operational needs of the research team and facilitate solutions

What Were Looking For In You

• Experience servicing the research needs of a SaaS company
• Experienced in research methodology including (but not limited to) thematic analysis, usability testing, structured interviewing, and surveying
• Understands research ethics, with a commitment to uphold them to the highest standard
• Excellent communication, especially when corresponding with customers
• Resourceful, independent, and enjoys working autonomously
• Obsessed with organization, planning, attention to detail, and documentation
• Service-oriented with a passion for delivering practical solutions
