As Video Producer/Photographer you'll:

  • Concept, develop, produce and deliver media productions as directed by Senior Managing Producer. These projects will include, but are not limited to, video production, audio production and podcasts, still photography, animation, and new and emerging media.
  • Collaborate and contribute to in-house Creative team goals.
  • Collaborate with content and social teams to maintain a social-first mindset while storytelling.
  • Support Production team on video and photo shoots.
  • Manage processes, capture and deliver corporate portrait photography
  • Bring a social-first mindset to all stories, no matter the medium.
  • Manage and optimize corporate YouTube channel.

Education, Experience and Required Skills:

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in the field of film production or other applicable field.
  • 2 years' post-college experience in the areas of video production and photography.
  • Strong familiarity with film, photography and design theory, as well as recognized industry standards.
  • Expert with Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, etc.), Microsoft Office and Google Suite, as well as other third party production software.
  • Proficient in social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit.
  • Proficient with motion picture and still photography cameras.
  • Proficient with lighting tools and setups for both video and photography.
  • Proficient with audio production gear including microphones, mixers, etc.
  • Proficient with Mac computers and tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Understand and uphold the policies and procedures established by Home Instead and the related role to the Marketing department.
  • Demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen intently and effectively.
  • Ability to pitch creative concepts in presentation form to clients, receive feedback and apply recommended edits/changes, and deliver a high-quality product in a professional manner.
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with management, colleagues, franchise owners and their staff.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills essential, as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work.
  • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms to operate office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional office setting.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to independently produce basic video productions start-to-finish including coordination and planning, directing performance, filming, editing, and encoding.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to oversee projects from beginning to end, including incorporation of new ideas and best practices and evaluation of processes and procedures in order to recommend improvements and changes when appropriate.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
